As cyber attacks increase, they continue to affect more businesses in new and harmful ways. Are you prepared?

Join Former Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Jane Holl Lute, the President and CEO of the Council on Cybersecurity, and Venable’s own cybersecurity practitioners for a presentation on key insights and industry updates. The following questions will be addressed:

  • What has happened since the Executive Order?
  • How will National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework affect you?
  • What is ahead in regulatory and voluntary measures?
  • What steps can you take now?

This presentation will also review the potential incentives for adoption of the (NIST) Framework, and the currently available protections of the SAFETY Act, which can be utilized in conjunction with the Framework or another set of cybersecurity standards or guidelines.  Venable’s attorneys are leaders in the cybersecurity, the SAFETY Act, data breach and privacy, and have actively participated in all of NIST’s Framework development workshops.
