Venable LLP in collaboration with the American Woman’s Society of Certified Public Accountants (AWSCPA - NYC Affiliate) will host a Women's Initiative Networking Event.
In connection with this networking event we will be collecting both monetary donations and/or a donation of gently used suits, dresses and/or business attire for Dress For Success.
Cocktails and light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
The Dress for Success Suiting Program provides women with free professional clothing, accessories, and personal care products for job interviews. Its clients come from a diverse group of nonprofit and governmental agencies which include job training programs, domestic violence shelters, rehabilitation centers, and other organizations. Many women are reentering the workforce after a period of unemployment. The headquarters for Dress for Success (Worldwide) is located in New York City. This event will benefit the DC Chapter of Dress for Success.
Venable partner Doreen Martin and associate Joeann Walker will participate in the Women's Initiative event.
