Venable partner recognized for career success and dedication to community
New York, NY (February 22, 2012) – Venable LLP announced today that New York based partner Kostas Katsiris was selected by the Greek America Foundation for its Forty Under 40 Class of 2012. Katsiris is among forty honorees across the country whose career accomplishments and community service merited this honor.
A member of Venable’s litigation practice group, Katsiris represents leading investment banks, private equity firms, and other Fortune 100 companies in complex commercial litigation, investigations and regulatory proceedings. According to the Greek America Foundation, “Katsiris’ litany of professional accomplishments is long. He has worked on some of the largest class action litigations in the country and has achieved notable results for prominent companies in a variety of industries, including financial services, retailing, and construction.”
Members of the Class of 2012 will be honored at a reception on April 28 in New York City during the Greek America Foundation’s National Innovation Conference. In addition to being recognized at the reception, winners will also be featured in an upcoming edition of Greek America Magazine.
Founded in 1997, the Greek America Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to “promote, preserve and perpetuate the Greek culture, history and heritage in America.” Greek America’s Forty Under 40 recognizes forty young leaders who are commended for their success in their careers as well as the amazing things they do every day to make the world around them a better place. Honorees were chosen from more than 450 nominations by a blue-ribbon panel of business and community leaders.
