Our recent experience includes helping an applicant to acquire a federal savings bank previously owned by a large brokerage firm and to relocate the institution from Maryland to New York.
We also served as the primary legal advisor on an acquisition by private investors of a state commercial bank using a section 363 bankruptcy proceeding, obtaining approvals from the state banking regulator, the FDIC and the Federal Reserve Board, as well as the Creditors' Committee of the selling company, and the bankruptcy court.
