Bibiana Agudelo is a law clerk in the Intellectual Property Litigation Group of Venable’s New York office. Ms. Agudelo is a Colombian attorney. She received her J.D. from Universidad del Rosario, as well as an LL.M. in Intellectual Property from Franklin Pierce Law Center in the United States. She has worked in the field of intellectual property (IP) for more than ten years.
As an IP attorney in Colombia and IP Practitioner in the United States, she has learned the characteristics and inner workings of other legal systems; interacted with international clients in the pharmaceutical, fragrances, cosmetics, snack, beverages and entertainment industries; and established strong working relationships with foreign legal counsel.
Ms. Agudelo’s area of focus includes United States and foreign trademark prosecution, trademark enforcement, anti-counterfeiting and licensing, domain names, and copyright protection. She is fluent in Spanish and has some knowledge of Japanese.
