Charles Guidry is a member of the Real Estate and Finance practice groups.  Mr. Guidry has significant experience in real estate finance, representing investors in acquisitions, development, and dispositions of investment property. Mr. Guidry assists clients in resolving title issues and drafting and negotiating leases, loan documents, and purchase and sale agreements.  Mr. Guidry also assists clients in navigating the complex issues arising in the sale and purchase of senior, mezzanine, and other subordinated debt.

As a member of the CMBS Special Servicing Group, Mr. Guidry has significant experience representing CMBS and CDO servicers in the modification and disposition of loans and REO property.  Mr. Guidry has assisted servicer clients in the restructuring of a package of 62 commercial loans in 21 states related to the bankruptcy filings of the TIC sponsor; in the restructuring of over 40 loans made to affiliates of a large U.S.  mall operator; and in the multibillion-dollar loan default of a large multifamily housing complex in New York City.
