Christine C. Carey
Christine Carey represents businesses and individuals in a wide array of litigation matters including conflicts over trust management, corporate governance disputes, shareholder and member litigation, and claims arising from breach of contract and other business torts. Ms. Carey provides responsive representation and has worked on cases in both state and federal court.
While earning her law degree, Ms. Carey served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Marvin J. Garbis, United States District Court for the District of Maryland. She was also the recipient of the prestigious Jaap de Zwaan Scholarship, which allowed her to study international business and human rights at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, for a semester. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Carey was a volunteer in rural El Salvador working in local schools and acting as a liaison between American donors and village leaders to facilitate development projects such as building schools and water purification systems.
