Dana M. Fidazzo
Partner

Dana Fidazzo focuses her practice on all aspects of complex real estate matters, including financing, acquisition, development, joint ventures, management and leasing.  As an active member of the CMBS Special Servicing Group, she also advises special servicers and lenders in complex workouts and restructuring of troubled loans.  She also has extensive experience in matters related to servicing securitization portfolios and loans held for sale, the issuance of mortgage-backed bonds through securitization trusts and the secondary sale of mortgage loans.

Representative Clients

Ms. Fidazzo represents clients in the development, acquisition, management, restructuring and leasing of commercial and mixed-used real estate projects throughout the country and abroad.  Ms. Fidazzo also counsels lenders and borrowers in connection with financings secured by residential and commercial properties located throughout the country and complex loan workouts and modifications.

  • Representation of international developer in connection with national and international acquisition and development, asset sales, long term ground leases and management agreements
  • Representation of lenders and special servicers in connection with loan workouts and modifications, foreclosures and the appointment of receivers, including:
    • Restructuring of 43 General Growth Properties loans
    • Appointment of receiver for regional retail mall portfolio, senior housing portfolio and mixed-use projects
    • Receiver sales of regional retail malls and residential apartment complexes
    • Foreclosure of regional retail malls and office buildings
    • Disposition of REO properties held by lender
    • Restructuring of loans related to the bankruptcy filings of the TIC sponsor affecting mortgage loans on commercial properties located in 21 states
  • Representation of local developers in connection with the acquisition, financing and refinancing of office and residential real estate projects
  • Representation of Fannie Mae in connection with financing of pools of loans secured by multifamily properties located throughout the country
