Ted Evans concentrates his practice on complex real estate matters, including the acquisition, sale, financing, leasing and management of real property.
Significant Matters
Mr. Evans has been involved in a number of significant commercial real estate transactions, ranging from Marriott International’s purchase, disposition and management of 32 Renaissance and Courtyard branded hotels and other joint venture interests with a total purchase price in excess of $1.4 billion to the sale of REO properties on behalf of CRIIMI MAE Special Services. Mr. Evans also recently represented tenant clients in the negotiation of leases for space at One Metro Center, Washington, D.C. and Desert Passage at the Aladdin, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Activities
Mr. Evans presently serves as an Acquisitions Editor for the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the American Bar Association. Mr. Evans has served as a judge for the Odyssey of The Mind Competition for the Harford County Public Schools and provides pro bono legal counseling on behalf of the Maryland Volunteer Legal Services.
