Rick Joyce’s presentation will provide an overview of legal and practical issues to be considered and addressed while developing social media and electronic communications policies and practices for law enforcement agencies, as well as a number of related issues facing the law enforcement community. The presentation will also guide attendees through areas to address while developing your social media and electronic privacy policies. Mr. Joyce will also provide an overview of the developing body of “social media law” particularly as it pertains to the law enforcement community.
