Heather Maly is a member of the firm's commercial litigation group.  Ms. Maly handles all aspects of complex civil litigation in federal and state courts and serves clients' needs in major business disputes, securities litigation, intellectual property concerns and tort actions.

Ms. Maly is currently representing monoline insurers and financial institutions in disputes centered on mortgage-backed securities transactions and other complex financial instruments.  She has also successfully prosecuted healthcare fraud claims against a medical practice on behalf of a healthcare insurance company.  She also has been engaged in product liability matters, including defending pharmaceutical manufacturers in various product liability actions. 

Ms. Maly’s practice also includes intellectual property and advertising matters.  She has successfully represented an international company in the health and beauty aid sector in a trademark dispute.  She also represents companies in litigation concerning advertising and marketing practices, including actions brought by regulators.
