As a member of Venable's Business Transactions group, Jeremy Horine focuses his practice on general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions and real estate transactions. 

His clients include established corporations, as well as start-up companies, across such varied industries as entertainment, commercial production, technology, Internet and direct response marketers.

Significant Matters

  • Represented Authentic Entertainment in the sale of a majority interest in Authentic Entertainment to Endemol USA
  • Negotiated and drafted license agreement for an international celebrity entertainer in connection with the use of his name and likeness for promoting a line of products for a food production company
  • Negotiated leases for multiple retail locations located in California's largest regional shopping centers on behalf of a leading international fashion jewelry retailer's expansion plan to establish U.S. operations
  • Negotiating and drafting a complex resolution between primary members of a large commercial real estate investment company
  • Drafting operational restructuring of an international direct marketing company
  • Drafted talent agency partnership agreement

Activities

Mr. Horine performs pro bono legal services for the Alliance For Veterans, drafting memos of corporate understanding and negotiating contracts for programming airtime.

He is actively involved in Venable's Summer Associate Program.  Mr. Horine participates in the firm's recruiting efforts and frequently interviews candidates for summer associate and lateral attorney positions.  He also participates in the UCLA School of Law's Mentor Program and Mock Interview Program.
