John Milliken's practice focuses on transportation, land use and environmental issues associated with major infrastructure projects.

Mr. Milliken has represented the following:
  • private companies partnering in highway infrastructure projects in the states of Virginia, Texas, Florida and Missouri, among others;
  • a consortium of private companies selected by Virginia to design and build a Metrorail extension to Dulles Airport;
  • principal landowners involved in the re-planning of Crystal City in Arlington County, VA;
  • a major property owner in negotiations with the Virginia Department of Transportation and FHWA regarding a shift in the Limited Access Line for an Interstate Highway;
  • clients with complex land use and transportation issues requiring approval from local and state governments; and 
  • clients with interests in the successful completion of the final design and construction of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge.
