Julie A. Petruzzelli

Julie Petruzzelli focuses her practice on all aspects of intellectual property, with particular emphasis on complex litigation, counseling and licensing. Ms. Petruzzelli has served as lead counsel in intellectual property matters covering a broad range of technologies and industries, including chemical, biochemical, pharmaceutical, ANDA, electrical, mechanical, medical device, and computer-related matters. She has represented U.S. and international companies before federal courts throughout the U.S. and the International Trade Commission.

Ms. Petruzzelli brings to each matter years of experience managing and litigating cases to successful resolution. She is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and uses her technical background and in-depth understanding of patent law to resolve patent disputes successfully. In addition, Ms. Petruzzelli has significant experience litigating trademark, trade secret and copyright disputes.

Having started her legal career on Wall Street working on securities, as well as merger and acquisition matters, Ms. Petruzzelli brings a strong business perspective to every matter. She is aggressive and creative in building and managing cases and is always prepared to take a case to trial if necessary in order to achieve the best, most appropriate outcome for a client.

Activities

Ms. Petruzzelli lectures extensively on intellectual property issues and participates in both professional and community activities. She works with children in the community and is an active alumna of both her college and law school.
