Lauren T. Coapstick
Associate

Lauren Coapstick is an associate in the real estate group. Ms. Coapstick focuses her practice on real estate financing, acquisitions, and development. She has experience representing lenders and developers in connection with all aspects of real estate matters, including land acquisition, development, project finance, and construction loans.

Significant Matters

Ms. Coapstick regularly assists with complex real estate transactions, including the acquisition and construction financing of multifamily housing developments, sales of residential lots to home builders in transit-oriented developments, and condominiumization of multifamily projects.

Ms. Coapstick represents institutional and conduit lenders on loans secured by first and second mortgages. Her real estate lending experience includes loans for acquisition, construction and development, and permanent financing. She also represents lenders on mezzanine and asset based loan transactions, secured by pledges of partnership or membership interests and receivables.

Activities

Ms. Coapstick performs pro bono work on behalf of community arts organizations and non-profit groups in Northern Virginia. She is also a member of the American Bar Association.
