Matthew P. Reinhart
Associate

Matthew Reinhart is a member of the firm’s Product Liability and Mass Torts Group. His practice focuses primarily on complex pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, representing clients in both state and federal courts. As part of a team of Venable attorneys serving as national or local counsel, Mr. Reinhart has been responsible for conducting in-depth legal research and analysis, drafting motions and briefs, preparing and responding to discovery requests, coordinating litigation efforts with local and national counsel, and conducting privilege review of thousands of pages of complex pharmaceutical company documents.

Prior to joining Venable, Mr. Reinhart served as a senior analyst for the Natural Resources and Environment Division of the United States Government Accountability Office where he was responsible for leading a team of analysts in conducting evaluations and investigations of various federal programs for the United States Congress.

Mr. Reinhart also has professional experience working on the remediation of a Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) Superfund Site and assisting a state environmental agency with the review and evaluation of environmental reports and remedial designs to ensure compliance with state regulations.
