Megan Malone

Megan Malone’s practice focuses on guiding clients through the often complex legislative process on Capitol Hill, with an emphasis on committees addressing financial services issues, as well as select regulatory agencies, including the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Ms. Malone has worked extensively on the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Act, with particular attention to derivative reform and the implementation of Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Act.

Ms. Malone works closely with clients to develop legislative strategies and proposals to advocate issues before Congress, specifically in financial services, international trade and customs, and transportation. She helps clients draft testimony for congressional hearings and comment letters to regulatory agencies, develop coalitions, and work with key congressional committees. She also works successfully with clients to draft issue papers and introduce legislation. Ms. Malone’s knowledge of the congressional and regulatory issues impacting clients in a broad range of industries uniquely positions her to formulate develop an effective legislative and regulatory strategy.
