On November 21, Venable Partner Michael Baader was named among 24 honorees selected for The Daily Record's 2010 Leadership in Law awards.

The awards recognize members of Maryland's legal community for their outstanding contributions to the profession, public service and mentoring.

The honorees were selected from more than 100 nominations, from which 24 finalists were chosen by a panel of six judges, which included the Executive Director of the Maryland State Bar Association and a professor at the University of Baltimore School of Law.
