Michaela Roberts is a litigator who guides branded and generic pharmaceutical manufacturers through all stages of litigation and e-discovery in product liability and mass tort cases. Michaela is proficient in managing complex discovery, creating and developing litigation strategies, and advising clients on matters related to electronically stored information (ESI).  Michaela has served on several nationwide trial teams in complex pharmaceutical litigation, and has represented clients in commercial litigation, arbitration, and investigations.

Michaela has a strong track record in representing organizations in complex nationwide litigation involving vaccines and pharmaceutical products. Her experience includes numerous cases involving childhood, adolescent, and adult vaccines; cholesterol-reducing drugs; pain medications; and anti-thrombolytic medications. She has also represented clients in government investigations, congressional inquiries, and commercial litigation.

In addition to her litigation experience, Michaela assists clients in developing policies and strategies for collecting and preserving electronically stored information (ESI) in advance of litigation. She routinely advises on ESI preservation, collection, and maintenance best practices, and collaborates with clients to develop and implement ESI collection protocols. Michaela also works with clients to develop efficient ways to establish and configure ESI databases, designed for secure storage of relevant ESI data, in preparation for later production and analysis.

Combining her considerable litigation and e-discovery-related experience, Michaela advises clients in developing company-wide, non-litigation-specific discovery strategy, and developing and implementing related policies, procedures, and protocols.
