Last week Venable announced that Brenda Tranchida had joined the firm’s healthcare group in its Washington and Baltimore offices. Prior to joining Venable, Tranchida spent 15 years with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services rising to become Director for Program Compliance and Operations Group. Tranchida began her legal career as an associate at Venable.

Since joining Venable, multiple publications have featured Tranchida’s move including the January 31, 2012 issues of The AmLaw Daily’s “The Churn,” The Hill’s “Lobbying World,” and Thomson Reuters News & Insights. The January 30, 2012 issues of Citybizlist, DOTmed News, National Journal’s “Influence Alley,” and The Hill also featured news of Tranchida’s move.
