Norman Lencz focuses his practice on a broad range of international, federal, state and local tax matters. He advises clients on tax issues relating to corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, joint ventures, REITs and RICs; tax-free and taxable mergers, acquisitions and spin-offs; compensation planning; installment sales and like-kind exchanges; and real estate development and investment.
Significant Matters
Mr. Lencz recently assisted a major regional corporation in planning and implementing the tax-free spin-off of its medical supply business. He also recently represented a publicly-traded corporation in a $65 million tax dispute with the Internal Revenue Service.
Activities
Mr. Lencz serves on the board of a number of charitable organizations and institutions. He also provides tax and business advice, on a pro bono basis, to both indigent individuals and charitable organizations.
