Paul T. Kaplun has been reelected to a two-year term as a member of the Board of Directors of Holy Cross Health, Inc. and was elected as the organization's Treasurer. Paul will also be serving as the Chair of the Finance Committee of Holy Cross Health and as a member of its Executive and Governance Committee.
Holy Cross Health, Inc. consists of two hospitals in Maryland: Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring and Holy Cross Germantown Hospital, as well as the Holy Cross Health Network which maintains three health centers (with a fourth to open in mid-2015), all of which are located in Montgomery County, Maryland. The Health Network also includes a number of partnerships with providers, community health organizations and insurers throughout suburban Maryland.
Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring is the second largest hospital in the State of Maryland in terms of patient discharges, and Holy Cross Germantown Hospital which began operations in October, 2014 and was the first new hospital to open its doors in Montgomery County in thirty-five years.
