On January 28, 2009, Jim Burnley participated in a Rand Corporation panel of three former Secretaries of Transportation. They discussed transportation issues facing the new Congress and the Obama Administration, including the stimulus legislation and the revenue crisis for funding for highway and transit programs. It was held in the House Cannon Building and drew a diverse audience of Congressional staff and transportation lobbyists.
