Sarah Choi is an associate in Venable's Commercial Litigation Group, where she focuses her practice on complex civil litigation. Her practice encompasses all aspects of litigation in federal and state courts. Ms. Choi has litigated disputes including antitrust, class action, and general business issues, and her representations have encompassed a broad range of claims such as breach of contract, fraud, negligence, and breach of fiduciary duty.
Ms. Choi has represented clients at trial, in hearings, and at depositions. She has experience managing discovery efforts, including conducting fact investigations, taking depositions, handling witness interviews, and supervising document productions and reviews.
Significant Matters
Ms. Choi's recent litigation experience includes:
- Defense of a pharmaceutical manufacturer in government enforcement, nationwide class action, and opt-out litigation regarding so-called "reverse payment" settlement of Hatch-Waxman patent litigation; and
- Prosecution of a multi-million dollar breach of contract, fraud, and tortious interference action on behalf of a pharmaceutical manufacturer.

Ms. Choi is a member of the District of Columbia and New York Bar Associations.
While in law school, Ms. Choi served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Michael H. Dolinger in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
