Sharon A. Blinkoff

Sharon Blinkoff advises clients on a broad range of regulatory and intellectual property and business matters arising in the advertising, marketing, distribution and sale of consumer products as well as products regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration including cosmetics, medical devices, drugs, and dietary supplements. Ms. Blinkoff regularly advises on matters regulated by the Federal Trade Commission, Food and Drug Administration, and industry self regulatory bodies such as the National Advertising Board. Ms. Blinkoff frequently represents her clients in patent, trademark and other intellectual property matters and disputes particularly those involving cosmetics, fashion, and over the counter drug products.Whether representing clients in regulatory, business or intellectual property matters, Ms. Blinkoff leverages three decades of practical technical and legal experience to deliver outcomes that enable her clients to accomplish their business objectives. Before entering private practice, Ms. Blinkoff has had considerable corporate experience. Ms. Blinkoff served as Division and Regulatory Counsel for Bristol-Myers Squibb and then Revlon. Ms. Blinkoff also served as General Counsel of Ethan Allen Inc. overseeing its transformation from a private to a public company and overseeing the repositioning of the company's marketing strategy as well as the reorganization of its distribution and manufacturing operations. Ms. Blinkoff started her career with the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, where she managed patent litigation matters as well as matters involving technology transfer.

For more than three decades, Sharon Blinkoff has helped her clients successfully navigate the regulatory maze, bring their products to market, protect their intellectual property, and achieve their business goals. Consumer products companies and specifically companies regulated by the FDA and the FTC face an ever changing complex landscape of regulations both in the U.S. and internationally. Ms. Blinkoff is skilled in advising clients on how to address these challenges and understands the business fundamentals of these consumer products businesses which enables her to be an effective problem solver.
