Stephanie T. Anelli
Ms. Anelli is a member of the firm's business transactions group and serves clients' needs in all aspects of major business disputes.
Her practice focuses on a wide range of corporate law matters, including corporate governance, outsourcing, bankruptcy, real estate, real estate investment trusts (REITs), securities transactions, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Venable, Ms. Anelli spent five years at Deloitte as a Senior Consultant. Her focus was on executive compensation, though she did work on compensation and benefit plans for employees at all levels. She composed, reviewed, and communicated relevant deliverables to Boards of Directors and high level executives to address the specific compensation issues her clients were facing. In addition, Ms. Anelli also worked at the defense and aerospace company, EDO Corporation, as the National Manager of Compensation and Benefits.
Significant Matters
Ms. Anelli's experience includes participation in the drafting and negotiating of various agreements including IT outsourcing, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), human resources outsourcing, software licensing and development and software as a service (SaaS).
Her practice has also focused on cases involving credit-counseling companies, dealing with various statutory and regulatory issues that arise out of the unique service they provide.
