Venable partner Paul Glasgow accepted the Distinguished Partner award on behalf of the Venable Foundation at the 2011 awards gala for the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless (MCCH) on February 24. Pat Clancy and Luisa Lopez were in attendance and recognized for their pro bono work for the Coalition. Mitch Mirviss, who also attended, was recognized for his pro bono work on behalf of foster children in Baltimore City.
The gala newsletter highlighted the firm's "contributions to improve and expand MCCH's ability to serve people experiencing homelessness." It also noted that over the past several years, Venable has donated over $100,000 in services to the Coalition.
