What Distinguishes Venable?
This year, the firm launched the Venable Curriculum – an associate-to-partner offering of core programs structured to meet the professional development needs of our associates at various stages of the associate career.
The curriculum contains programs that will enable our lawyers to provide the highest quality service to our clients and to prepare them to reach the next level. For instance, the curriculum provides programs that will help junior associates be effective mid-level associates - including programs on writing skills, research, organization, and time management. There are programs that will help mid-level associates become good senior associates - such as communication and presentation training and basic business development skills. And for senior associates aspiring to be partners, there are more programs for business development, as well as workshops on supervisory skills, and so on.
