Veronica Ogle is an associate in Venable's Real Estate Practice Group. Her practice focuses on a wide range of commercial real estate transactions including commercial real estate acquisition, disposition, finance, development and leasing. Ms. Ogle’s practice also includes corporate formation; land use and zoning matters; drafting real estate acquisition and finance transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, deeds, operating agreements and opinion letters; drafting and reviewing closing documents; coordinating closings; and reviewing title and survey materials.

Representative Clients

Ms. Ogle has assisted clients, including entrepreneurial and institutional investors and international organizations, in the acquisition, development and financing of a variety of real estate projects in multiple asset categories, including residential and commercial developments, office buildings, and retail and shopping centers.

Significant Matters

Notable transactions in which Ms. Ogle has assisted clients include:
  • Assisting an international organization in connection with various leasing matters and the acquisition of an approximately 240,811 square-foot office building in the District of Columbia.
  • Advising and assisting a national investment management company in the acquisition of a 369,000 square-foot shopping center and the closing of approximately $14.5 million of related financing.
  • Advising and assisting a national supermarket chain with various zoning and land use matters, licensing and regulatory issues, and filing and negotiating for 10-year real property tax exemptions with the D.C. Office of Tax and Revenue for its stores in the District of Columbia.
  • Advising and assisting a prominent real estate investment advisor in the $252 million sale of a majority ownership interest in a historic 421,901-square-foot office building located in the District of Columbia.
