Victoria R. Danta
Victoria R. Danta is a member of the SEC/White Collar Criminal Defense group. Her practice focuses on representing clients in criminal investigations and civil government enforcement actions. Additionally, Ms. Danta’s practice involves representing companies of various sizes in commercial litigation matters, as both plaintiffs and defendants. Her recent experience includes litigating breach of contract and tortious interference claims against satellite and foreign-language television providers and defending retail companies in judgment enforcement proceedings.
Ms. Danta has worked on intellectual property matters, as well, including copyright registrations and domain name transfers under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy.
Ms. Danta also regularly advises clients on records and information management issues. Her experience includes drafting record retention policies and schedules of records for corporations, nonprofit organizations, and various other entities.
Activities
Ms. Danta is a part of Venable’s E-discovery task force.
Ms. Danta has represented clients on a pro bono basis in housing discrimination matters.
While a law student, Ms. Danta obtained uncontested divorces for victims of domestic violence through Fordham University School of Law’s Domestic Violence Awareness Center. Ms. Danta has also lived and studied abroad in the Republic of Korea.
