William A. Agee
Bill Agee is a member of the corporate transactions practice at Venable and concentrates his practice on all areas of business and finance, with particular emphasis on real estate investment trusts (REITs).
He represents REITs and other entities in connection with mergers and acquisitions, financings, corporate governance and both public and private equity and debt offerings, including initial public offerings.
Significant Matters
Mr. Agee has formed and advised a Maryland REIT in connection with a series of private equity offerings, aggregating more than $1 billion. He, along with other Venable attorneys, served as Maryland counsel to Tishman Speyer in its acquisition of Archstone-Smith Trust, a multi-billion REIT.
