FTC's Warning on Green Paint Claims Required a Second Coat

The FTC recently went after several large paint companies for advertising that their paints were VOC-free when that claim was true only before colors were added to the paint. Manufacturers thought they had addressed the issue by responding with bold claims about the safety of their products, but the FTC felt the paint wasn't quite dry on these claims.
