Anna Katherine (A.K.) Moody counsels high-net-worth individuals and multigenerational families on estate planning, business succession planning, and wealth preservation. A.K. advises on all aspects of federal wealth transfer and fiduciary income taxation, including the design and implementation of advanced wealth transfer techniques such as intentionally defective grantor trusts, intra-family installment sales, grantor-retained annuity trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, and family limited partnerships/limited liability companies. A.K. has experience advising on the wealth transfer and income tax consequences of trust decantings, modifications, reformations, terminations, and beneficiary/fiduciary settlements.

A.K. also counsels fiduciaries on estate and trust administration, including post-mortem tax planning and the preparation of estate and gift tax returns. In addition, she has represented beneficiaries and fiduciaries in estate and trust litigation matters.
