Short Ashley
Ashley Short focuses on estate planning for high-net-worth individuals. Ashley’s assists clients with preserving assets for future generations, leaving a charitable legacy, and providing for pets. She aids in basic estate planning, such as wills; trusts; advance directives; durable powers of attorney; and complex gifting techniques, such as GRATs and family LLCs. Ashley supervises the administration of estates, guiding clients through the probate and administration processes. She helps clients reduce estate taxation through post-mortem estate planning. In addition, Ashley prepares Maryland and federal estate tax returns, and represents individuals and estates in gift and estate tax audits.

Prior to law school, Ashley worked as a research analyst for the Center for Studying Health System Change, in Washington, DC.
