Venable partners Mike Baader, Kevin Shepherd and Ron Taylor ranked among elite list of attorneys in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Baltimore, MD (Jan. 3, 2012) – The January 2012 issue of Baltimore magazine recognized three Venable partners as being among the top attorneys in the state. Venable partners Mike Baader, Kevin Shepherd and Ron Taylor each were highlighted as one of the Top 100 lawyers in the state of Maryland in the Super Lawyers ranking that was published in the magazine.
Baader, Shepherd and Taylor have all practiced at Venable their entire careers, and they each cover a different area of law within the firm. Baader is a Corporate lawyer who also serves as Partner in Charge of Venable’s 170-lawyer Baltimore office. He counsels clients, many of whom are technology and growth-oriented businesses, on corporate planning and business advisory services. Shepherd co-chairs Venable’s Real Estate Practice Group and is past chair of the ABA Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law, and past president of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. His clients include large national and multinational institutions involved in complex real estate transactions. Taylor heads Venable’s Maryland Labor and Employment Practice Group. He advises and defends employers throughout the U.S. on occupational safety and health issues, as well as labor and employment law matters.
