Venable partner and former Michigan Congressman, Bart Stupak has joined the Ethics Resource Center’s (ERC) board of directors. The ERC is a private, nonprofit organization devoted to independent research and the advancement of high ethical standards and practices in public and private institutions.
In a statement released by the ERC, Stupak said, “I have long admired the work of the ERC and am honored to be asked to join their Board…I look forward to working with this highly respected group to effect change in our political and business environments.”
Welcoming Stupak to the board, ERC Chair Michael Oxley said in a statement, “Bart Stupak’s leadership skills in Congress, including his ability to work across the political aisle, will help the ERC navigate the complex challenges of organizational ethics in a changing world.”
