Firm Wins Chambers Award for Advertising

Washington, DC (June 10, 2011) - Chambers USA released its annual ranking of US attorneys this morning and 54 Venable attorneys were recognized in 31 national and regional categories.

"We thank our clients for actively supporting the firm's practices and individual lawyers,” noted Karl Racine, the firm's Managing Partner. “What our clients think of the work and service we provide is, in the final analysis, what matters most to Venable lawyers and legislative professionals."

At ceremonies in New York last night, Venable's Advertising Practice was honored with the Chambers USA Award for Excellence, the second consecutive year the practice has received this outstanding recognition. According to the Chambers website, "these awards reflect a law firm's preeminence in key practice areas. They also reflect notable achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service."  Jeffrey Knowles accepted the award on behalf of the firm.

Chambers and Partners notes that it conducts intensive, continuous research to identify the world’s leading lawyers and law firms - those which perform best according to the criteria most valued by clients.  The process, which extends over several months, includes written submissions, personal interviews, client feedback and peer assessment.
