As president of the Association of Corporate Growth, Morton spoke last week at a leading private equity conference in China
Venable partner Chuck Morton was quoted in a June 10, 2013 Want China Times article on the necessity for private sector expansion in the Chinese economy. Speakers at the seventh China International Private Equity Forum said the Chinese government support for and development of the private sector will be essential to maintaining the health of the country’s economy.
Speaking at the forum, Morton, who also serves as president of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), said, “Many unknown small companies have ultimately became influential international groups through mergers and acquisitions.’ The ACG served as one of the hosts for the three-day forum.
