A true-crime podcast in the vein of "Serial" is now featuring episodes based on Geoff Garinther's five-year representation of a court-appointed client, Richard Nicolas, who is serving a life sentence for the 1996 murder of his daughter.
Geoff's work from 2011-16 in connection with a Brady violation at the 1997 trial led to the grant of a new trial for Mr. Nicolas 20 years after his conviction, only to have that decision reversed last year by the Fourth Circuit. Geoff's commentary in the podcast, "Convicted," can be heard throughout episodes eight, nine, and ten.
