Providence Center, a nonprofit organization that serves adults with developmental disabilities, honored unsung heroes that assist the organization at "The Hero in All of Us" event on November 15. The mission of Providence Center is to provide services that allow individuals with disabilities to enjoy increased self-determination in leading a more independent, valuable and functioning role in society.
The organization honored Venable partner John Stierhoff, among four other honorees, for performing hundreds of hours of pro bono service on their behalf. Eye on Annapolis reported news of Stierhoff's award in an article on November 24, 2012.
