Kelly Weiner and Brandt Mori led a Venable team in serving as local counsel to Ashford Hospitality Trust (NYSE: AHT) in Virginia and California in connection with Ashford’s refinancing a $415 million mortgage loan through JP Morgan Chase. The loan is secured by 18 hotels across seven states, including six hotels in California and one hotel in Virginia. Will Weaver, Jimmy Dvorak, Andy Schmerzler and Doug McDonald also assisted with the transaction.
