Kedrick Whitmore obtained approval on behalf of Vornado/Charles E. Smith for major renovation of Crystal City office building. 1770 Crystal Drive (formerly known as Crystal Square Office 3) is a 12-story office building built in 1979 that is part of the Crystal Square site plan. The development is approximately 1.3 million square feet of office space, 155,000 sq. ft. of commercial retail space and 378 residential units. Crystal Square Office 3 is one of four office buildings in the overall site plan. The project is expected to be completed in 2017.
