Venable partner Sam Olchyk was quoted in a November 5, 2014 Law360 article on the new Republican controlled Senate’s expected focus on tax reform. In Tuesday’s midterm elections, Republicans maintained control of the House of Representatives and picked up enough Senate seats to put them in the majority. Despite their new, Republicans are still expected to face an uphill climb on tax reform.
“Even though tax reform will be challenging in this environment, we will likely see hearings during the first few months of the year,” said Olchyk.
