New York office hosts Fordham Law BLSA and LaLSA students for mock interviews

On April 18, 2018, Venable's New York office hosted mock interviews for the Fordham Law School Black Law Students Association (BLSA) and Latino Law Students Association (LaLSA) 1L members. More than 20 Venable lawyers participated, with almost as many law student attendees, in productive one-on-one practice sessions to prepare students for on-campus interviews (OCI). The group concluded the evening with a reception and a vigorous roundtable conference addressing interview techniques. Reflecting on the evening, Matt McLaughlin, partner-in-charge of the New York office, remarked: "Venable lawyers shine brightest when they act in service of others. We are proud to have assisted this impressive group of Fordham students in finding just a little extra poise and confidence as they enter the OCI season."
