Venable attorney Paul Kemp was quoted in a December 8, 2009 Daily Record story about Paul B. DeWolfe Jr., the new Maryland Public Defender.
According to the story, the three-member Board of Trustees of the Maryland Office of the Public Defender made the appointment Tuesday morning, a day after interviewing the three finalists for the job.
Kemp was quoted in the story saying DeWolfe "may be the nicest guy who practices law in Montgomery County."
