This program will take participants through the life cycle of the discovery of a non-compliant matter, covering grantees' legal obligations to institute a compliance program, including the elements of an effective program, as well as disclosure obligations should a noncompliance come to light, whether discovered by your own staff, a whistleblower, or by an outside auditor or agency inspection. Speakers will also provide practice tips and guidance on preparing a disclosure, liaising with the agency from the beginning of discovery or assertion of a "finding" to formal and informal dispute processes, as well as working through any subsequent audit process.
