Rob Bugg brings experience in a broad range of complex litigations, with an emphasis on intellectual property disputes and post-grant proceedings before the USPTO's Patent Trials and Appeals Board. Rob has managed all aspects of large-scale litigations involving a vast array of technologies, including telecommunications systems, software applications, semiconductor manufacture and design, global positioning systems, wireless communication protocols, media streaming, electrosurgical devices, video-on-demand systems, automated material handling systems, and automotive head-unit functionality.

He has represented a wide range of clients in cases before numerous district courts, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the International Trade Commission. Rob is also a registered patent attorney and has experience prosecuting patent applications in varying technical fields in the United States and abroad.

Rob received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where he served as articles editor of the Brooklyn Law Review and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Nina Gershon of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
