Steven Weinberger represents GE in Chicago microfactory lease

Steven Weinberger, Venable real estate counsel in the New York office, recently represented GE in its lease negotiations for a new microfactory location in Chicago. The manufacturing facility is one of the first of a new GE crowdsourcing initiative aimed at creating innovative industrial products. The 65,000 square facility is housed in the mHub technology incubator on Chicago’s west side. Multiple publications including the Chicago Tribune featured news of the deal that closed in October 2016 and the new microfactory which opened in December.
