After Republicans won control of the Senate in Tuesday’s midterm elections, lobbyists across the DC area said their phones began ringing off the hooks with clients wanting to know what shift in power means for their priorities.
“Even our Democratic colleagues aren’t crying in their beer because they know there’s going to be a lot of activity,” said Smith who was inundated with calls following the election.
