Anniversary Marked with Expansion of Office Space in Century City
LOS ANGELES – August 1, 2016 – Ten years ago, with a consistently increasing number of clients and matters throughout California, Venable LLP announced the opening of its first West Coast office, in Los Angeles. The new office began with a specific focus on Litigation, Advertising, Media and Entertainment, and Corporate matters. Since then, the office has steadily and strategically expanded its presence and legal team into one of the largest in the area and has added several prominent lateral partners. Today, the office has grown to a team of more than 70 attorneys and has expanded its core practices into Tax and Wealth Planning, Real Estate, Intellectual Property, Labor & Employment, and Bankruptcy.

Redesigned by AREA Architecture, Venable's offices at 2049 Century Park East have expanded to include the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd floors, comprising approximately 81,000 square feet, connected by a two-story internal staircase. The expanded space includes a state-of-the-art conference center, and multiple conference rooms of varying sizes, along with casual areas for client consultation and informal meetings.
